The Etobicoke Quilters’ Guild (EQG) is one of the oldest quilting guilds in Canada. Since EQG was formed in 1975, the guild has grown to more than 140 members and incorporates a wide range of interests and skill levels. Membership is open to people of all ages interested in any aspect of quilting.

EQG is one of the resident groups at Neilson Park Creative Centre. We meet in a large bright and spacious studio in a beautiful park setting. In addition to monthly meetings, members enjoy a range of activities, including open studio time, educational workshops, annual exhibitions and biannual quilt shows. Members give back to the community through our comfort quilt program.

Quilt guilds are enormous reservoirs of expertise; at EGQ there are many ways for members to share and learn. There is a chair in our studio for you, so please …

Come create with us!

As Seen in Canadian Living!

Sandra Proudfoot was one of the founding members of EQG, and she designed one of the most popular Canadian quilts of all time.  Canadian Living magazine recently revisited this lovely, and uniquely Canadian treasure.
