Quilt Fever was Fabulous!

The First Prize Quilt was won by L. Pavlov of Toronto, Ticket #5353.

The Second Prize Quilt was won by S. Jorgensen of Toronto, Ticket # 1205.

 In addition, a small cushion, (a Quilt Fever 2010 Bonus Prize) was won by R. and J. King of London ON.

 

NPCC Hall Challenge Show

Theme:   Favourite book, movie or fairy tale

Art Form:  Quilt or fiber artwork ie doll

Entry Form Deadline: August 15

Entry Deadline:  Mon. September 27 between 10 am and 12 pm

Show Dates:  September 27 - October 17 2010

Registration Fee: $10.00

Prizes:  1st, 2nd and 3rd Viewers' Choice provided by the Joan Stavert Fund.

The goal of the Etobicoke Quilters' Guild is "to further interest in quilting by inspiration and encouragement, and by learning through sharing, thus helping quilters to enjoy their media and improve their standards.

Membership is $100.00 a year.  $25 for EQG and $75 for Neilson Park.  Membership is due September 1st 2008.  It is pro-rated beginning March 2010.

Studio C at Neilson Park Creative Centre is reserved for quilters on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.  Every second Wednesday is Thursday.

PLUS!!! Sundays from 12:00-4:00 once a month. Except during the summer. The next Sunday will be in September.
There is an access fee of $2.00 per member. Coffee, tea and cookies are free.

Members and visitors are welcome to come and work on their projects, get advice from other quilters, or just hang out.  There is a supply cupboard where members may borrow tools and gadgets while in studio C. The library is open for members to borrow books and magazines.

We are always in need of hand quilters to work around the quilting frame holding our raffle quilts.
