~Joan Nault, from the Nov/Dec Newsletter

Comfort Quilt makers have been working diligently during the summer, and continue to do so during the fall. We are preparing for the fall distribution, which we will do on Thursday November 9, so that the quilts can be distributed to our agencies before the Christmas break. Will those of you who connect with any of the agencies please ask them what they want from this distribution, and let me know before November 9. Thanks.

The Comfort Quilt program is also grateful for the donations of fabric that came our way during the summer — some from current and former members, and some from the general public.

“Thank you so much for the AMAZING quilts you brought last week to Romero House. We LOVE your quilt gifts that are so clearly made with love. Your quilts are used to adorn beds when families first arrive at Romero House – they do a wonderful job of welcoming!”

“Thank you very much for your wonderful donation of quilts for the women of 416 at LOFT. They are beautiful quilts and will bring much comfort and joy to our women. Thank you for your generosity and care.”
