A big thank you to all the public relations committee participants for their support and help in getting the word out for Quilt Fever 2018. Early indicators show the attendance was high and the feedback positive.
We did a small random survey of attendees asking how they heard about the show. The top four results are: 27% word of mouth, 23% local quilt shop postcard or poster, 21% social media and 17% other guild newsletters. The results can be used to focus future public relations efforts for different promotions we may undertake to develop the Guild’s membership, increase workshop attendance, and promote special events like retreats or sales.
We’re beginning our preparations for Etobicoke Civic Centre Farmers’ Market days in June, July, August, and September and are looking at working with NPCC on this program. The specific dates and calls for volunteers will be forwarded in the coming weeks.
