Bargello Workshop Part 1 with Michelle Palermo

Come and play with beautiful, eye popping Bargello with our very own Michelle Palermo. Participants will learn the technique for making a Bargello quilt top in a size of their choosing.
This is a two session workshop. When you register, you are registering for both sessions. Come and learn the technique of making a Bargello! Small scale prints, batiks, solids, and blenders work well.
• Fabric requirements for a small lap quilt or table runner:
o 20 fabrics/colours – 2 – 2.5” WOF strips or Jelly roll precut, OR
o 10 fabrics/colours – 4 – 2.5” WOF of each or 1/3 yard
o Get some extra fabric for a border and binding (not needed at class).
• If you would like to make a larger quilt, 2 jelly rolls or double the strips.
• Tools and equipment to bring:
o Cutting mat, rotary cutter, and 6 x 24 ruler
o Sewing machine, thread, and seam ripper
o Graph paper, mini labels, and pen.
