January Member Meeting
January 15, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Gail Gallow and Yvette Fornier will talk about a trip they made to the Arctic to teach quilting. We will hear once again from Gail Gallow and Yvette Fournier — this time about their second trip to the Arctic to teach quilting to native women. Most of us have gone to some lengths to indulge in or share our love of quilting, but it’s highly unlikely we’ve gone as far as these two women, and under such interesting conditions!
If the first letters of your last name are F-Ha, then it’s YOUR turn to contribute goodies for the meeting.

Doors to the Centre open at 6:30 pm for room set-up – after which you can peruse the info tables with details on workshops, tours and retreats being offered or visit the library until the meeting starts. Hours of meetings are 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm sharp. The Centre is wheelchair accessible. Ample free parking is available, and there is handicapped parking near the entrance.
A typical meeting includes items of guild business, a “show and tell” of work by members, refreshments, and a guest speaker. Some meetings may include a special activity – demos of new tools and techniques, or even a rousing game of fabric bingo.
