2019/20 Theme “Meet the Makers”
Each year a theme is picked for members to make and share a particular quilt block. At the end of the year (or after a couple of years…) we get to see each other’s quilts, and be amazed at the wonderful variety that came from one idea!

Mini Bag for your Mug pattern
The EQG Make & Take Workshop in Sept 2019 produced a wonderful array of mini drawstring mug bags. They were made using orphaned blocks, UFOs, sample fabrics, and other scraps, in an attempt to use ‘what we have’. The drawstrings were created using a 1” strip of fabric, two pins and an iron.
If you wish to make your own mug bag, just follow the instructions on the pattern. We would love to see your bags when they are finished, or contact Janice Telfer if you need help with the final steps of construction.
